The “carro gros” (big carriage), loaded with wine barrels or other rural life products, took part during many years of our Penedès countryside.

In the middle of the XX Century, when the “castellers” (catalan human towers) were going to get something great, the said they would have a “big carriage” performance.

With this name was blessed the “4 de 8”, the highest human tower builded in that time.

This wine is a tribute to the owner's father of the winery, who was one of the Castellers de Vilafranca founders.
